The Children’s Ministries purpose is to minister the word of God to
children. Our mission is to educate children about God the Father, God the
Son and God the Holy Spirit. The children will learn that God has a
purpose for their life and come to a greater understanding that He desires
a personal relationship with them.
Through the following programs this can be accomplished:
Sunday School - provides
the children with biblical instruction in which they learn about God’s
plan of salvation for the world through His Son Jesus Christ. Biblical
stories are told in an age appropriate setting.
Children’s
Church - enables children to
participate in their own worship service, singing songs of praise, and
tithing as instructed to do in the word of God. The children learn to give
thanks to God through praise and He is worthy of all praise!
Mission Field
Instruction - enables children to
learn about discipleship. Jesus gave us the commission to go into the
world and preach the gospel, making disciples of all nations. The children
are taught about missionaries, their vital work in the ministry and of the
ways in which they can help through alabaster offerings, to build churches
in other countries. They also collect and fill shoe boxes with toys for
distribution at Christmas for needy children all over the world. In doing
this work, the children learn love for others by giving. The children are
also taught how to witness and disciple others.
Vacation Bible
School - enables children to
participate in a one week summer program, that is geared to biblical
instruction and fun. Through a special chosen theme, the children learn
about the word of God, learn new worship songs and participate in fun
crafts. They also leave each night with some fun gifts.
The children are God’s treasure. They are the future disciples. Join us
in preparing them for this mission. Pray about volunteering your time to
participate in the planning and or assisting in the vital programs that
will enrich a child’s life.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up the child in the way he should, and when he is old
he will not turn from it.
