We do this by sending out letters to homes in our neighborhood announcing our Thanksgiving Program and request their assistance in supply food and people that are in the need of assistance for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The food baskets, complete with turkey, trimmings, and some extra food are delivered to the families the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving.  On the weekend before our distribution, several members of our church go down the neighborhood streets to pickup the food the neighbors leave on their doorsteps.

Each year, our program receives a huge amount of support from the Department of Motor Vehicles in Medford.  The DMV effort is spearheaded by June Simone of the DMV.  We are extremely grateful to the DMV for there constant support.
